Love the pictures! Aren’t DSLRs awesome! I am wondering though how you got the pic of your ring on the rug? Is it a feature in your camera? Or did you mess with shutter speed and sperture to get it? I would love to know, it is a really neat effect.

I learned this somewhere online (wish I remembered what the site was). First, I set the shutter speed so it’d stay open longer. Next, I zoomed in on my ring. I pressed the button to open the shutter and smoothly zoomed out as it stayed open.
I’m a little jealous. It doesn’t look good on me. 🙂
