Aloha Friday: School Time
This was the first week of school for NHL and JSL. NHL is now in the fourth grade. After a very rough second grade and some moments in the third grade that made us want to break down and cry, we’ve got some hope that this year might improve.
JSL, meanwhile, is now starting kindergarten in the same building as NHL. The transition hasn’t been easy. He’s embarking on a brand new adventure, but he is scared of the change. Drop offs have been filled with tears (both his and B’s). Still, once he gets into the groove, I know he’ll have a blast.
My Aloha Friday question for today is: How have your kids taken to the start of the school year?
P.S. If you haven’t already, try out my Twitter applications: FollowerHQ and Rout.
Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life for starting this fun for Friday. Please be sure to head over to her blog to say hello and sign the linky there if you are participating.
It’s been quite a while that I had the routine of school for my sons. What I hear now is that the course towards their Master’s is hard

My little monkey did really great this year… she cried for a minute then was fine and did not cry at all the 2nd day 🙂
